TAS-16: Bullying Prevention – Taking Action
On May 20th, middle and high school students and teachers from across Massachusetts will come together at Lombardo’s, in Randolph, MA to take a stand against all forms of bullying. During the two-hour session, participants will engage in break-out sessions facilitated by graduate students from the Massachusetts Aggression Reduction Center (MARC) of Bridgewater State University to exchange ideas and approaches for dealing with bullying in their schools and communities. The break-out sessions will allow students to identify the challenges within their schools and communities and help them create and share student-led programming and strategies with their peers. Each two-hour session will be limited to 250 students and teachers in each session — Register your school today to take part in this very important program.
On May 20th, we invite you to join with the STAND UP 2016 Community Coalition, consisting of prominent national and community-based organizations including: The Massachusetts Aggression Reduction Center (MARC) and the Massachusetts Teachers Association in standing up to bullying.
